Infection Control

At Harmony Dental, we take infection prevention and control seriously. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care while protecting our patients, team, and community from healthcare-associated infections.

We follow the latest guidelines set by the OSHA, EPA, and CDC to ensure complete safety. This includes using hand soap, gloves, and face masks, as well as chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces, and sterilizing all reusable equipment, including dental handpieces. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses on surgical instruments and medical equipment by using steam, heat, and pressure.

We also use disposable materials whenever possible and follow strict protocols for cleaning and sterilization of instruments. We take the time to explain our procedures to our patients so that everyone understands how we are protecting everyone’s health.

At Harmony Dental, we strive to provide our patients with the best possible dental care experience while ensuring the safety of our entire team. If you have any questions about our infection prevention and control protocols, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
